Watching Andrew succeed in his classes, and how it grows his confidence.
When Jaron comes over, just to use some paper to make a grocery list.
How Murray smells after a day at the Yuppy Puppy salon.
GETTING A NEW JOB. At this place. :)
God working on my heart, clearing my head.
The nice lady who gave me a painless flu shot and giggled over my emotional distress.
My parents, for paying for it.
A lovely long weekend at home.
Walking the S.C. golf course and getting short, wet grass clippings on my shoes.
Sitting with Amy and Grandma on the couch, looking at facebook and blogs.
How Jace B. points his finger sternly when the boys are hitting each other.
Pumpkin pie.
Getting my wedding ring re-plated. It looks hot.
When Andrew answers the phone with a high-pitched "Wassup, gurrl?!"
Digging one of my cheapo pashminas out of the cold-weather-clothes bin.
Mums and pumpkins around the neighborhood.
My S.C. Boys Track sweatshirt. Secretly stolen from Brett Vander Berg in high school when he left it at my house after all-state practice. It is an amazing sweatshirt.
How the pond was a shining brilliant blue yesterday morning right before sunrise.
Macaroni and cheese. And baked Cheetohs. Lots of orange.
Sipping hot coffee with chocolate creamer in the blue chair, looking out the window for a while with Murray before I hop in the shower.

61-70
Spending time with Abbie and Kinsey, laughing.
Quizzing Andrew for his first history test.
Hearing him accidentally say "Hugalobites" every time he means Huguenots.
Pretty wine labels.
Spending time with a new/old friend downtown.
Moroccan Mint tea at the Java House.
Sweet worship last weekend at church.
Thinking about Christmas plans with the family.
Trusting that God has a good plan for me, and that I'm living part of it right now.
Hearing from Jana that the Cranberries are going to tour the U.S.!!!

51 through 60
A playful husband.
Finding out I'm going to be an aunt to a baby BOY.
Strolling the Amanas with Bink; finding cute necklaces.
A house full of noise and loved ones and piles of tennis shoes.
Getting my hair trimmed and smelling the minty shampoo.
Being followed around the pond by a talkative 9-year-old stranger.
A new boss who makes me laugh.
Good and heavy sleep.
Reading books in the blue chair while Andrew studies and sings out loud at his desk.
Unbaked almond patties in my freezer. Yum.

31 through 50
Weekly August thunderstorms, and the view we enjoy from our home.
The perfect length of the walk I take over lunch to get a diet coke and read a book.
Sore muscles.
Waking up at 5:15 and actually feeling rested, then dozing for another hour next to my love.
Teaching Murray to successfully "shake hands."
Belly pictures from my pregnant sister. You heard me.
Working from home last Friday and writing all morning.
Eating square-cut Pagliai's with my family.
Groceries from my parents.
30 Rock Season 2.
Buying new school supplies, even if they aren't for me.
A letter from Grandma that mentions Mormons....
My single aster that has bloomed from the many seeds sown on Easter.
Fresh peaches.
Andrew laughing so hard he cries a little.
That Amy always gives me the number to Sushi PoPo, every time I ask for it.
Going to Target and Wal-Mart and checking out quickly, even though it is college move-in season.
A husband who will nonchalantly flick bugs off my t-shirt without alarming me uneccessarily.
The giant desk given to us for free by Phil and Jackie.
Finally baking fresh bread.

21 through 30
Summer thunderstorms. Falling alseep and waking to lightning.
The silky waves of Murray's newly short hair.
Mounds of deep red tomatoes piled high on the kitchen countertop.
New music from Luke.
Creamy, rough-chopped avacado in fresh guacamole.
My husband's long-suffering acceptance that I require millions of slow hugs.
The desire to jog.
The second life my potted flowers are enjoying.
Understanding more about how God doesn't promise happiness, but he does promise love.
The gurgle and gasp my little college 4-cupper makes when the coffee is finished brewing.
